NOTICE OF ART THEFT!

Diego Voci Project needs your help! $20,000 REWARD!

$20,000 REWARD yes $20,000 REWARD for this stolen masterwork by internationally collected artist Antonio DIEGO VOCI (VOH-chee) 1920-1985!

From the voice of Marsha Piper, one of the daughters to the Brown Family;
“My dad, Dr. Ogden (Ted) Brown and mom, Alyce (both deceased), at one point in the seventies had the largest collection of DIEGO Voci artworks. This photo below with DIEGO was taken with them in front of our Colorado Springs home in 1973. DIEGO was our guest as we sponsored a stellar one-man exhibition for him at the Broadmoor Resort. While as guest, DIEGO designed and sewed a fully lined brocade dress for me and my sister Lynda. DIEGO was constantly drawing, and he cooked for our family, selecting and purchasing every little ingredient. A memorable experience.”

The Brown family has dispersed the entire Diego Voci collection with their entire family; staying true to the legacy of Diego Voci.

40 YEARS TO FIND AGAIN 3 COLLECTORS ADDICTED TO DIEGO

Three victims of “The Potato Chip Phenomenon,” (can’t stop at buying only one Diego Voci artwork) emerged this year. 40 years ago I wrote in the June 1974 Guide to TV:

1974 June TV Guide Cover with Fishermen

Dr. William M. Morton wrote from Muncie, Indiana that he has 15 DIEGOs.  Robert Sholar in Washington D.C. has 30.  A land developer in Colorado Springs has 24 [Dr. Ogden Brown].  Dr. Norman Ferland, with 6 DIEGOs has written from Great Falls, Montana to say, “I would not even begin to think of selling them no matter what the price would be.  They are part of my house.” – Quoted from 2 page article on Diego.

We knew about the Colorado Springs Diego Collector, Dr. Ogden Brown, whose daughter Marsha became the USA agent for Diego. See her sitting before her favorite painting, “Nude in Yellow” for which a $20,000 reward has been announced (stolen about 1973).  http://www.artifactcollectors.com/diego-voci-painting-of-the-week-5154118/Page8.html#237

But, it took until this year to re-locate the other three addicted Diego collectors, I met in 1974.

We continue to uncover collectors addicted to Diego.  Colonel Snow (deceased) had many Diego’s, and we are trying to contact Col. Snow’s daughter in Colorado.  Also, Joedy Lyng Riederer in Virgina. And we have other Diego collectors finding us online each day.

Google “Diego Voci” to learn more.
