We hope you are all managing with your own personal situations. On our end, our team has made some adjustments – as just about everything has changed in our communities in the last 2 or 3 weeks. Many of us have been restricted from our regular day-day routine. …Stephen Max

Compliments of The Diego Voci Project https://www.diegovociproject.com/
Diego pictured here with Gigi-Bellati, and Lino-Storero at-La-Gondola 1977. Notice the painting on display in the upper right hand side of the image, titled:
“Young Lady by the Window”. When this image was featured in Diego’s Blog on WordPress, it didn’t take long before we received an email from one of Diego’s Collectors. The note and image shown below from The Wilcox Family.
…I was stunned to see that we own the beautiful Young Lady by the Window which is depicted in your 1977 photo on the wall directly above Diego and Lino Storero. We won this watercolor and ink as a door prize at one of his home studio showings in #Wiesbaden Taunestein!
Best Regards and Wishes…
…Stan and Sibylle Wilcox
Larry Martel in #Heidelberg, Germany bought “Der Mönch” on Thanksgiving Day. The monks seems to be saying to the artist, “Who is the guy, Diego? Are you sure I can trust him?” Diego’s wife Helga captured this Diego memory on canvas with her polaroid camera in 1975, since faded.

On this day, August 10, we celebrate the 98th birthday of internationally collected artist Antonio “Diego” Voci (1920-1985).
I am Coop Cooprider, Diego Voci Historian. I first met Diego in late 1966. Patti and I bought our first Diego oil painting on layaway, our first of many. We were and remain addicted https://www.artifactcollectors.com/diego-history-4330818/Page7.html#98597. In 1973-74, I volunteered for a year to help Diego become better known. One of those efforts was the 3-page biography in the May 1974 issue of the AFNTV Guide by my ghost writer Victoria Williams.
“The Clown” pictured above was stolen about 1980 from what was then my office in Otterbach, Germany. There is a reward of $30,000 for its return. See “The Clown” in color in the video by Stephen Max: https://youtu.be/T3ODYMxxBdc

1966, a young married couple, Americans living in Germany, bought their first “expensive” Diego Voci painting, “Madonna and Child”. They bought it for $150 on layaway, 3 payments. That was a big chunk of their small budget at the time.
The artist Diego Voci was represented by Joy Gibson, a Canadian art dealer operating out of Zweibrucken, partnering with Dr. Jawdat Naffouj.
The Coopriders, Coop (he’s the skinny one on the left 6’2”) and Patti just could not stop at one (The Potato Chip Phenomenon). They knew Diego and Helga through the years buying many more Diego’s.
Coop became the volunteer Diego Voci Historian in 1973 and began the volunteer Diego Voci Project in 2010, a property of the Diego Voci Estate, and in 2011 began the official Diego Voci Archive to search for and catalog all the lost Diego oil paintings scattered around the world. We’ve identified approximately 1,000 of 4,000 so far.
