In this wonderful painting, I puzzle, is there life here that does not matter?
Internationally collected artist Antonio Diego Voci (1920-1985) embraced a rainbow of humanity in his masterful works. How about a gay couple adopting a black child? Does only one life matter? More colorblind Diego Voci artworks to come..Stay tuned https://www.diegovociproject.com/

Renaissance Noir
Online through July 3 at UTA Artist Space

What the gallery says: “‘Renaissance: Noir’ investigates Blackness on the continuum of the historiographies of African American artists’ narratives that assert, individually and collectively, their state-of-mind and state-of-being Black. An existence of ‘double consciousness,’ as coined by W.E.B. DuBois, where one is constantly combating the ‘isms’—racism, colorism, sexism, capitalism, colonialism, escapism, and criticism—through the act of artistic activism. https://news.artnet.com/exhibitions/renaissance-noir-at-uta-1885608

#COLORBLIND PAINTBRUSHES SERIES ONE

#Diego went to #Africa to embrace their #culture where Black Lives Do Matter.  And #Diego went to #Indian Reservation to embrace their #culture, coincidentally a dark skin tone like Diego himself.   Here are 2 examples of the #colorblind paintbrushes of internationally collected artist Antonio Diego Voci (1920-1985).
