We hope you are all managing with your own personal situations. On our end, our team has made some adjustments – as just about everything has changed in our communities in the last 2 or 3 weeks. Many of us have been restricted from our regular day-day routine. …Stephen Max
Diego Voci; “Au Cafe” #1141-153 70x80cm oil on canvas. Originally purchased back in 1976 at PHV by a Craig Jolley.
Today we do not know where this painting is or who owns it. Any information would be greatly appreciated to help the mission of the DVP, to catalog all of Diego Voci works of art with the Diego Voci Estate Archive. https://www.diegovociproject.com/
From the Diego Voci Project family to yours, we wish you the best as this decade comes to a close. This time of year gives you a break to reflect on the past year and a chance to spend extra time doing the things you love to do. We’ve accomplished a lot this last year at The Diego Voci Project, and the future has never been brighter.
Stephen Max This month while browsing through some of the old 35mm slides from Helga Voci shoebox collection, I discovered and restored a 35 MM slide of this beautiful painting by Diego™ titled La Fille du Port. The only information I have from the slide is the title and size (70 X 80 CM).
An extraordinary video created by Stephen Max (volunteer for The Diego Voci Project). Go behind the scenes in Antonio Diego Voci’s (VOH-chee 1920-1985) studio. Each day when Diego painted was always a mystery as to what he would create because his skills and talents were outside the bounds of one style.
“Each movement had its great masters, but there are very few who could create art unconfined by a single style like Diego.” – Christopher Voci.
