DANCING WITH #DEATH

Many artists, #Picasso, #WilliamMorris, and #DiegoVoci would contemplate death in their work.

Internationally collected artist Antonio Diego Voci (VOH-chee 1920-1985) with deep feeling and respect visited “Death by Oil and Canvas” periodically with a sense of mystery and accents of beauty.

Centauro is the mythical Greek Warrior with human torso and horse body, surrounded here by ghostly figures of the dead.

The puzzlement of death was expressed when William Morris, famous glass artist, quoted a Shoshone medicine man who questioned

,“If the dead be truly dead, why should they still be walking in my heart?”

William Morris

“The feelings arrive unannounced and we must be ready to embrace them fully.  Our creativity and intuition access endless magic.”  – William Morris
