NOW WE KNOW WHO OWNS THIS DIEGO !! “BOYS WITH MELON” FOUND AT LAST!
UPDATE: Diego Voci AHAH! Kami Cooprider here! I came in this afternoon and saw this great post. It looked familiar. Voila! Carole Hackenbeck and her hubby Claude own it. Here is what she wrote to us late last year: “Hi, my husband is number 8 of a 10 children family. Number 7, his brother Michel was a major in the Canadian air-force and was stationed in Germany for a few years and he bought this painting! Unfortunately he died of a massive heart attack in September 1988 at the age of 39!! Our third son was born on September 30th 1988 which is the date of Diego Voci’s passing [Actual date of Death is August 10, 1985]!! His parents cherished this painting and when both were diseased the 9 siblings had a drawing to share the objects that everyone wanted and my husband won the painting which we love and reminds us of his closest brother!!!” and here is the Index card with Helga Voci handwritten info on Major Michel Lambert, Claude’s brother. Our Diego Voci Project Team will continue posting more of the the ‘lost’ paintings! Greetings from the DVP, Coop, Stephen Max and Lisa Camargo
#Diego ‘s love of food as an Italian, seems to capture people with their emotions and a relation to food. He loved to cook! He loved his wine. He loved his coffee! He loved LIFE!
