#MUSES “Die Musen von Pernasus” by #DIEGO_VOCI

“Die Musen von Pernasus” by Antonio DIEGO_VOCI (1920-1985), 31.5 x 15.75 inches

These colorful #muses are a testament to Diego’s comment about women:

“A man look at woman… this is cerebral feeling. Venus is love god … who made her? In reality Venus never existed. I like for example fat woman … that’s the way I build Venus. Or I like the skinny woman … that’s the way I build Venus.” DIEGO #VOCI, 1974

Using glass paint on canvas, Diego did a series of experimental glass paintings. See more of Coop’s #DIEGO_VOCI collection: Art Collection from Cooprider Family Collection | Artwork Archive
