Exactly one year ago today, the 62 year old “Winning Team” of Patti & Coop Cooprider became minus one, Metastatic Vulvar Cancer. Patti said “No Grieving!”
In the end, she was still leading by example. If you haven’t seen Patti in the mini-video on her next to last day in hospice bed, it’s an exhilarating testimony of Patti’s unique ability to rise above it with buoyancy and “joie de vivre” , in a spontaneous singing response to Coop’s “I Love You” with Teddy Bear in hand. (Be sure to wait ‘til Patti sings!)
Dan and Arlene surprised the DVP with a rare caricature signed “Voci” they cherish, in addition to an exquisite oil painting by DIEGO they bought from Diego directly in Wiesbaden, Germany while Dan was stationed there. Here are Dan’s words: “I met Diego several times. See the attached “all-in-fun” sketch by Diego. He asked me what my sport was I said skeet shooting. He thought I said skiing, but I corrected him. So, you see both sports in the sketch, my broken skis and a shotgun. We purchased the painting directly from him at the Wiesbaden Officers Club”:
Thank you Dan and Arlene for being a part of the DIEGO VOCI PROJECT since 2016!

Joe is the proud owner of the above 2 DIEGO artworks. We featured them about 6 years ago for your viewing. Joe celebrated his 97th Birthday in November of this year! Congratulations Joe! Looking good . . . Joe acquired the 2 DIEGOs in Germany at one of the many bazaars in th emid 70s. Joe recalls DIEGO having an impressive aura and how he spoke intensely about his art. Joe describes DIEGO as flamboyant! That he was! Thank you for being part of the DVP!
