George Roberts, shares his story about how he acquired this Diego work of art:
“We have a “nude” painting by Diego that was purchased at the Patch Barracks Officers Club in Germany in the late 1960’s from an American female who told us that this was a painting of Diego’s first wife. We paid $250.00 for the painting which was a lot of money in those days. We did not meet Diego. The painting is oil on canvas and measures approx.31” x 21” in the original frame. There is no title on the back of the canvas however a number 1697-9.” (The number on the back of the canvas represents the timing of the painting was complete)
