5 years ago on April 18, 2009 someone gave a solitary bid of only $100 which we now discovered. “Still Life of Fruit and Flowers” is our featured Diego painting for this Memorial Week. (http://www.invaluable.com/auction-lot/voci,-antonio-diego-still-life-fruit-and-flowers-210-c-93c8784888)
Who was the lucky buyer? Where is it now?
Help us seek out this and the remaining unidentified 75% of Diego’s great body of artwork. And if you find a ridiculous price like this buy it. Although the supply seems plentiful, remember it is finite. There won’t be any more, and as the demand for Diego paintings grow, so too will the prices. Diego’s have recently been found in Germany, Canada, and USA. Also, in Switzerland and Italy (signed “Voci”). They have been found in garage sales, thrift shops, under beds, in galleries and auctions.

In searching for a Diego, you might also find a #Dali for $200 and is considered “virtually priceless”. The painting was sold earlier this month for an undisclosed amount to an anonymous collector. See the post on Dali below.
